back. from chili. why was I in Chili ? MISSIONS TRIP !! so cool. why? cause God was in charge and he saved a bunch of wretched people who deserved to go to hell. but guess what, instead of experiencing the wrath of God, they get to live through what we call grace. what a beautiful word. grace. g r a c e but also mercy  don't forget that one. man im glad for that one. i mean who would want to be in heaven and hell at the same time. not that that's possible but haha, i wouldn't. it is always a priviledge to see people saved and when you see 779 in 6 days well, it's pretty unusual. sad that it is.

funny, people from the trip all say they feel different from the rest of the people from the BI. like if the missions trip changed them and they can't quite express it to others who seem to be missing something that God wants us to have. something that we cannot brag about because we don't deserve. welcome to my everyday world. i didn't tell this to the group and i won't. because they might take it as arrogant, so i'll keep it to people who aren't around me here. people don't know i have a xanga here, funny because i only used this for the bi last year and now that it has a purpose since everyone is all spread out, i don't use it.

anyway i don't feel different from the trip, people around me would make me think i missed something, that it is a bad thing. but that's not how it feels, it feels like i already had it, and that i'm excited to see other people have it. what is it? a passion for the lost ? simply a heart on fire for God? a focus? a little of all of these. i pray that God would make this part of the character of all of us, that it not be an experiencial emotion but a reality resulting from our lives and relationships with him, a part of our internal character. would you pray for me, that i remain genuinely passionate and never be complacent. pray for my friends that God may impress this into their character, pray for yourself, that you may be a mighty warrior for God in adding souls to the heavenly kingdom. pray for the lost....that they may be found

this week we had a class on cults, on the watchtower society (jehovah's witnesses), mormons, christian science and the seventh day adventists. very interesting. I have to say it just reinforced in my mind the fact that you can reason to whatever system of faith you want to. The only real source of truth is the word of God, the bible, stray from that, you're gone. As ravi zacharias says in "the true face of atheism" intellectualism with no guidelines is dangerous. the guidelines are found in the holy scriptures. when you stray from it, you end up in scary mindsets and the worst thing is that you end up influencing and mixing up others. Man ! thank God that his revelation is a written text that we have access to it. Pray that his holy spirit would stir his people to know it !

well life on campus is sure fun, enriching and definately busy. a little bit of time to sit down and relax on the weekend here, otherwise whew, no time to sit down.....

first week is done, pretty good class, probably won't be my favorite but was well done. I love Tom's Davis' class, he's teaching apologetics right now and it's so cool. one of the discipleship assignements is to read through like and write notes on whatever has to do with discipleship, i was very suprised as to how almost every passage did, I know it's like duh, that's why there were the twelve disciples, cause he was discipling them to establish the church but i guess it's never been so evident in my eyes. It adds new twist to a lot of little details in scripture, just adding riches all over the place to see and be excited about. God has given me some really cool, and really wierd (which is probably what makes them cool) roomates. love em and hope i can be of use in thier lives this year.

heading to new york tomorrow morning, by God's grace will be there by tomorrow night. excited to be on the move again.....and to see a lot of people that i care about. the supernatural task of getting all my stuff together is at hand, my gardian angel is going to help me out here....hopefully a little of the spirit too haha.
